Join me for a creative morning exploring beautiful shapes, textures and patterns of plants. Working with found nature on our doorstep we’ll extract the most delicate details using gelli plate and relief print processes. Working on a range of papers with water based inks you’ll build up gorgeous rich patinas of colour/pattern/texture, creating a wide range of artworks. These will be made into cards, framed just as they are, used in wider paper craft projects. All materials included. No experience require.

This three hour beginners class is the perfect introduction to screen printing on fine art papers. Exploring layered and experimental print techniques you'll produce your own sample artworks. Aimed at complete beginners or those looking to refresh their print skills, create personalized prints and gain tutor advice and guidance in a friendly, relaxed studio environment. Working on art quality papers using blank screens, paper stencils and pre-exposed screens. No prior experience is necessary.

A popular collaborative day with IoM & 'Bookbinding with Cass'. Spend the morning with Lorna learning the joys of gel plate printing, producing dynamic detailed prints on upcycled papers. In the afternoon, with Cass, incorporate your gel prints throughout the books signature pages, weaving colourful detail over the hardback cover with a stitched, folded accordion spine. There is something special about making a book with papers you’ve printed yourself. All materials are included.

A popular collaborative day with IoM & 'Bookbinding with Cass' . Spend the morning learning the wonders of cyanotype (blue prints) printing on paper and textiles with Lorna. In the afternoon, with Cass, make a concerting book, incorporating your blue prints through out the stitched pages, pockets , envelopes and hardback fabric cover. There is something special about making a book with papers you’ve printed yourself.
All materials are included. No previous experience required.
