  • Explore the magical process of cyanotype using local plants. This heritage printing method produces distinctive blue coloured prints showing incredible details from objects placed onto coated papers & fabrics. Experiment with plants, photographic images and found objects onto a variety of surfaces. Explore layering techniques, painterly marks while considering composition and narrative within your prints. Finished artwork can be framed, used in art books, cards and stationery gifts. Beginners welcome.

  • I’ve teamed up with Cass again for this two part evening workshop. Session one is with me and session two is with Cass. Exploring layered and experimental print techniques on different papers and off cut mount board covers. Working with blank screens, paper stencils and pre-exposed screens. No prior screen print experience is necesssary.

    Session two with Cass you’ll be creating a no-stitch tab book using all your eye catching screen printed papers. This collaboration produces a wonderful book for junk journalling, a sketch book, memory bookand would be a great gift too.

  • This three hour beginners class is the perfect introduction to screen printing on fine art papers. Exploring layered and experimental print techniques you'll produce your own sample artworks. Aimed at complete beginners or those looking to refresh their print skills, create personalized prints and gain tutor advice and guidance in a friendly, relaxed studio environment. Working on art quality papers using blank screens, paper stencils and pre-exposed screens. No prior experience is necessary.

  • Join myself and Cass, from Bookbinding with Cass!

    There’ll be different crafting stations set up that you can move around throughout the evening – think paper folded baubles made with screen-printed papers, mini leather or pleather notebooks and fold out star book decorations. A chance to enjoy some making time in good company and create a selection of sustainable and unique DIY gifts and decorations.

    Festive punch and sweet treats included! There will also be a mini pop up shop on the night with a range of handmade gifts and special edition bookbinding kits by Lorna and Cass, available to peruse and purchase.
