If you’d like to use the INK on MESH facilities independently during bookable sessions then an induction workshop must be completed in advance of booking any open access sessions . During this 3.5 hour workshop you’ll be guided through the technical details of preparing your artwork for screen printing. You will learn how to strip, coat and expose a screen using the IoM facilities and equipment. With this one to one session Lorna will also provide you with all the information required to order and prepare what you need to start working on your own screen print projects. Once complete you will be ready to book print sessions on allocated days.
Preparation, exposure and use of an A4 silk screen is included in this session and will be available for you to use during the session or hire for a longer period. Further screens are available to hire.
